The company says that its Permaline U2 makes it easy for bakery personnel to achieve accurate product positioning on the belt.
“The client’s custom-printed belt layout, however complex, is precise, highly visible and indelible even in the splice area,” said Giuseppe Allais, industry segment manager food. “It’s top-coated with a transparent, wear-resistant food-grade layer that protects the food from the print.
“This new second-generation Permaline belt is also easily cleanable and scrape-able. Its enclosed, printed surface is an innovative move away from the traditional marking techniques used on such conveyor systems – handmade drawings, metal inserts and laser print – and a significant improvement in terms of belt flexibility, durability and hygiene.”
