The project involved a full packaging design system, including labels and utilised brand elements such as the brew master tradition and the Amstel brewery year of foundation, to create a premium bottle recalling the heritage and quality of the Amstel brand.
A premium look was achieved, in part by developing a predominantly gold-coloured label that represents the devotion to excellence of the slow-brewed beer.
The unique, ergonomic shape of the PET bottle and its detailed glass-like engravings also work towards creating a high-quality feel to the new design.
Amstel Premium Pilsener is one of the most popular brands in the European beer industry. The company targets males in the over-30s age range and appeals to beer amateurs and connoisseurs alike.
