Devon’s Portlebay Popcorn have announced new listings for their premium snack in Boots, Tescos and WHSmiths stores nationwide.
Portlebay’s managing director Jonty White said: “The rate of growth has been phenomenal and is far beyond what we could have anticipated, even with the level of confidence we have in the brand.
“Tesco has been very supportive from the start, selling our popcorn across the West Country region. We are delighted that this key player will now be stocking Portlebay Popcorn nationwide. The news earlier this year that we were to be listed in Boots was also a major boost and sales are now flying out the door.”
Having recently launched the UK’s first Cappuccino popcorn
, Portlebay Popcorn have seen more than a 230 per cent sales growth in the last twelve months and are said to be working on new product innovation within their already expansive portfolio which includes flavours such as crispy bacon & maple syrup, sweet & salty kracklecorn and cappuccino flavour.
Portlebay Popcorn retails from £1.69 per 75g bag or in a single 25g pack size from £0.79.
