Coffee shop chain Pret a Manger has announced the launch of a UK-wide sampling campaign for three of its newest hot meal options.
A crew of the chain’s chefs will visit twelve cities across the country in a vintage Citroën van, offering full size portions of the company’s proper porridge in the morning and sample sizes of the new Korean barbecue pulled pork, and sweet potato and cauliflower curry quinoa rice, in the afternoon.
Pret a Manger will use its social media channels to promote the tour, supported by local Instagram photographers taking pictures of the van on tour. It will drive engagement using the hashtag #hotpret and locally targeted paid media, revealing the tour schedule on a daily basis.
A Pret a Manger spokeswoman said: “Pret’s hot food offering continues to grow and what better way to introduce two new additions (and a breakfast classic) than to have a bit of fun warming up thousands of people across Britain with free samples of our delicious porridge and quinoa rice pots.”
