US-based Runamok Maple has added to its 12-strong maple syrup range with the launch of a jasmine tea-infused variant.
The product is said to boast a delicate flavour profile, “bringing to life the essence of fragrant jasmine flowers and sweet honeysuckle to create a unique blend of flavours”.
Runamok said the flavour is ideal poured on savoury pancakes as well as yogurt and oatmeal.
The Vermont-based brand was founded by Eric and Laura Sorkin, who aim to offer consumers an organic line of maple syrups and one-of-a-kind flavour profiles.
Eric Sorkin said: “It’s been almost a year since we’ve introduced a new flavour to our growing collection of infused, smoked, and barrel-aged maple syrups and during that time, we have been hard at work taste testing and experimenting with a diverse array of ingredients to create an exciting new product for our customers.
“We’re thrilled to introduce our new jasmine tea-infused maple syrup, which offers a spectacular floral flavour that imparts just the right amount of sweetness. Our family loves to use this syrup to top everything from breakfast staples to vanilla ice cream. It’s quickly becoming a household favourite.”
In addition to the jasmine tea-infused maple syrup, priced at $16.95 for a 250ml bottle, the brand’s collection includes flavours such as elderberry infused, bourbon barrel-aged and ginger root infused.
