Salami pretzels were a novel sampling giveaway on the Netzsch stand at Anuga FoodTec, where Ingeborg Kleinfeld filled me in on the latest pumping technologies on show.
They included a redesign of the company’s tried and tested rotary lobe pump that ensures the effective transport of pulpy mass without pulsation. Netzsch’s pumps are more wear resistant and available in a full metal version for the food industry.
The pretzels proved an effective way of way of checking the consistency of what its possible to pump.
Back to the Anuga FoodTec floor for more meetings.
