The UK’s leading producer of nut and seed butters, which do not include palm oil, is introducing 26g single-serve jars to help businesses in the catering and hospitality industry meet the demand for the increasingly popular spread.
One in seven people eat peanut butter on a regular basis, and more than a third (34.1%) of households have purchased peanut butter in the last year (more than chocolate spread and yeast extract).
The new jars will be available in the UK through foodservice wholesalers from February in cases of 45 x 26g jars with a 15-month shelf-life.
