Rolling out to convenience and multiple channels, the range comprises three variants: Summer Berry, Chocolate Crunch and Chocolate Peanut.
The packaging of Slim.Fast’s meal replacement bar range has also been refreshed to feature a ‘new and improved’ flash on the box to communicate the product’s reformulation.
Albane Jeanbin, brand manager for Slim.Fast at Unilever UK, said: “Meal replacement bars occupy a significant share of the Slimming Aid category – over 13% in value sales, indicating that they are key slimming aid product. We enhanced Slim.Fast’s meal replacement range to coincide with the summer – a time for pre-holiday diets – to tap into this market further and grow the Slimming Aids market throughout 2013.
“By encouraging shoppers to create a plan for free on our website, we’re aiming to give consumers the tools they need to stay motivated and continue the plan for longer in a bid to drive sales and brand engagement.”
The RRP of Slim.Fast’s meal replacement range is £4.99 and the product is sold in a case of four.
