Artisan bakery company Speciality Breads has launched three new flavoured gourmet demi-baguettes for the foodservice sector.
The range consists of “a deliciously nutty” sunflower seed demi-baguette that offers a depth of flavour and character; black olive and sundried tomato demi-baguettes that offer a classic Mediterranean twist; and “a gloriously mild, fragrant” onion demi-baguette. All of the products are cased in 30 units of 120g breads.
The company is continuing to target the foodservice sector ahead of the key summer trading period, when it hopes that the barbecue and alfresco season will allow it to substantially drive sales. Made using only British flour, the demi-baguettes are a perfect ingredient for sandwiches or as an accompaniment to soup.
