Starbucks has launched four new retail offerings as part of its North America Coffee Partnership with PepsiCo.
They include a new cocoa and honey flavour of its cold brew blend, joining the unsweetened Starbucks cold brew that launched last year. The new beverage will be available in late March with an initial rollout across the west coast, northeast, southeast and Great Lakes regions.
There is also three new additions to its Starbucks Doubleshot espressos line-up – including new Cubano Doubleshot, inspired by Cuban-style coffee; an espresso and salted caramel cream-flavoured Doubleshot; and a coffee and protein Doubleshot with 20g of protein in each can.
The beverages will be available where Starbucks products are already sold, as well as select Starbucks stores across the US.
A spokesperson for the coffee chain told FoodBev: “More than 20 years ago, Starbucks and PepsiCo started the North America Coffee Partnership and launched Starbucks Bottled Frappuccino chilled coffee drink. What started out as a nascent category has grown to be more than 40 ready-to-drink Starbucks beverages and more than $2 billion in retail business.
“Now Starbucks customers have new ways to get their coffee on the go this spring with Starbucks’ new ready-to-drink beverages.”
Completing the line-up are a Dulce de Leche-flavoured Frappuccino coffee drink, which features ‘a smooth blend of sweet caramelised milk and coffee, plus convenient multi-serve bottles of Starbucks’ iced coffee which can be topped up with a splash of milk at home.
