The distinctive shape of the 250ml Fusion bottle gives Teasy great standout on-shelf and a premium positioning in the energy drinks market, distinguishing it from other 250ml slimline cans.
The aluminium bottle also safeguards the liquid from harmful UV light, while allowing impact pasteurisation, ensuring its taste isn’t compromised.
Jonathan Middlemiss, founder of Honesty Foods, said: “Rexam’s global reach combined with its excellent customer service made it the ideal partner for an entrepreneurial food business like Honesty Foods. The team showed total dedication and offered a packaging solution that not only ensured our liquid stays fresh, but is fully recyclable and stylish.
“Rexam provided tremendous support throughout the whole process, from the initial design meetings through to quality control measures. We look forward to continuing our working relationship with Rexam.”
The 250ml Teasy Fusion bottles are produced at Rexam’s Ejpovice plant. Teasy, which comes in Green Tea & Chamomile and Green Tea & Peppermint flavours, will be available in UK supermarkets and coffee chains from spring 2014.
