Unilever’s Lipton brand has expanded its range of fruit-infused iced herbal tea bags by releasing two new flavours for US consumers.
The strawberry watermelon and mango iced herbal teas are now available nationwide from selected US retailers in family-size packs of 16 tea bags.
Each flavour contains no added sweeteners, artificial flavours or caffeine, and both feature fruit flavours with hints of chamomile and other herbal flavours.
Consumers can make the drinks by brewing one tea bag with boiling water for three minutes, before removing the tea bag and then adding cold water and ice to create a refreshing summer beverage.
George Hamilton, tea director at Unilever said: “We know families are looking for delicious alternatives to water that are healthy and families will enjoy.
“Our new Lipton Iced Herbal Teas are just as hydrating as water, but pack much more flavour.
“They’re the perfect addition to any summertime family meal, from BBQs to picnics.”
Both flavours of the iced herbal tea range will a suggested retail price between $3–$3.50.
