Comedian and Great British Bake Off presenter, Sue Perkins, hosts the cookery show which features Heston Blumenthal in action, recreating a special dish remembered from his own childhood. He tells the story behind the recipe in the show.
The new TV show also features Brian Turner, Masterchef 2010 champion and Dhruv Baker, who cooks up the vegetable accompaniments to Heston’s dish.
Experts from the Waitrose Cookery School also get involved. Chef Gordon McDermott takes on Brian Turner in a seafood challenge where each person has five minutes to cook an easy fish starter and chef Eleni Tzirki cooks a simple Baked Alaska.
Waitrose digital editor, Courtney Freedman-Thompson said: “We are giving people some easy ideas made with great ingredients to enjoy with family and friends this Easter.”
