The new-look product features a new logo and packaging, both redesigned to better highlight the benefits of this spring water from the English Lake District. Willow Water is bottled directly at source, in an area which was once a White Willow forest. The new logo features stylish silver imagery of willow leaves and the strapline ‘the secret’s in the source’, which reinforces the source of the legendary Holy Well of Cartmel.
Neill Cotton, managing director at Willow, said: “We are re-launching the range with revitalised branding and packaging that highlights the purity of our water source and reflects our Cumbrian roots. The packaging also makes clear to consumers the full benefits of Willow Water with its unique blend of naturally-occurring minerals, including calcium and salicin.
“Our aim is for Willow to become a truly national brand, meeting the growing demand for original British bottled waters within the UK’s £1.4bn bottled water industry. Willow Water is a fantastic discovery and our investment will ensure Willow, with its extraordinary properties, is recognised and enjoyed nationally. The re-launch will be backed by a national PR and marketing campaign over the next 18 months.”
The new Willow Water range includes still water in light blue bottles and sparkling water in clear bottles. It will also now be available in a 75cl bottle with a sports cap, as well as the traditional 50cl and 1.5 litre bottles. The PET range is fully recyclable.
