When it comes to health, it’s all about what you put in is what you get out. So here in the office we are stocking up on chunky fruit salads, melon and olives and looking at the juicing trend and how we can get the natural flavour and health benefits without the beet stains and sticky kitchen.
The beverage industry and retail sector is on its toes and bouncing with a fantastic range of healthy juice blends and smoothies. For instance, throughout this month Harrods’ Food Hall’s most celebrated beverage brands will be offering samples of purifying juices, organic teas and coffees. The line up includes award winning SaVse fruit and vegetable smoothie, La Benefique, La Vie dei Té and Fairtrade coffee capsules from Cru Kafe along with Harrods own green, white and oolong teas.
The latest Harrods Food Halls launch, Harrods Green Juice also joins the 2015 line up for its Happy New You campaign. It is made from apple, green grapes, Swiss chard and ginger, the juice is packed full of goodness for a January detox.
The SaVse range is, as it says on the bottle – ‘Crammed full of goodness’ – and manages to include kale, spinach, broccoli and beetroot without tasting vile through careful balancing with fruits such as blueberry and blackcurrant and orange and mango. Better still these clear bottles of juice range from 95 to 105 calories and are cold pressed to ensure the just picked taste. Pushing almost every drop of nectar out of the fruit fibres produces a perfect biological drink dense with colour, taste and nutrients.
Taste your first cold pressed juice and you will remember it forever.
