The introduction of this new standalone beverage has been timed for summer, as the product can be used to produce creamy frappes as well as ice slush drinks that don’t lose their flavour (thanks to the dried milk powder contained in the mix).
Barry Callebaut’s Caprimo range is known for its ‘quirky and inventive’ selection, with a range of products that differ from the usual hot beverage offerings common to the vending and HoReCo markets.
“The Caprimo Crème Brûleé contains burnt sugar among its high-quality ingredients, which gives this indulgent beverage its deep caramel taste and infuses it with the flavour made famous in classic French cuisine,” said managing director Peter Holdway. “Because it doesn’t contain any caffeine, this favoured instant drink can be enjoyed by consumers of any age, including children, and there’s no limitations for its uses.
“We wanted to introduce something very different to the marketplace with a wide appeal, and we’re looking forward to monitoring the responses as we introduce it to our existing customer base.”
