Castlemil has debuted its new brand of breakfast cereals for infants in the UK, designed by a team of scientists, microbiologists and technicians to deliver the best in early-life nutrition.
Produced in the north of England, the four baby cereals consist of creamy banana porridge, blueberry porridge and oat porridge – as well as pure baby rice. The brand is available to buy from Castlemil’s website, and will be available from all Iceland Food Warehouse stores in the UK from September.
The cereals have a recommended retail price of £2 each and are available in a variety of tastes and textures for every stage of weaning.
A spokesperson for Castlemil said: “We are delighted to have launched a new brand of British-made infant cereals. The highest level of care goes into the manufacture of our products so our customers can get on with being parents and making the most of their little one’s early years.”
The four 125g packs all feature graphics of friendly zoo animals to appeal to children, while the cereals themselves are low in salt with no added sugar, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The creamy banana porridge and pure baby rice are also gluten-free.
