Philadelphia, Kraft Heinz’s iconic brand of cream cheese, has launched two new ranges of snack products.
New Philadelphia Cheesecake Cups are described as a ‘pre-portioned sweet treat’ found in the ready-to-eat dessert aisle of American supermarkets. They combine fresh milk and real cream with fruit, chocolate or caramel toppings – including strawberries, milk chocolate sauce, cherries and salted caramel.
They will joined by Philadelphia bagel chips and cream cheese dip, sold in portable snack cups perfect for convenience retail. Alongside the multigrain bagel chips, the brand has developed four sweet and savoury flavours of cream cheese dip: strawberry, garden vegetable, chive and onion, and brown sugar with cinnamon.
They are made with real fruits and vegetables and contain no artificial flavours.
Ken Padgett, associate director of marketing for Philadelphia, said: “People are busier than ever and are asking us for simple food solutions that are less processed and can easily fit into their lifestyles.
“With Cheesecake Cups, we are filling the need for a single-portioned, rich, quality dessert, and with the bagel chips and cream cheese dips, we are giving consumers a crunchy snack pack with bagel chips and cream cheese pairings that won’t disappoint your taste buds.”
The Philadelphia Cheesecake Cups are available at retailers nationwide with a suggested retail price of $2.99 for a twin-pack of 3.25oz cups.
The individual bagel chip and cream cheese dips will retail at a suggested price of $1.99 for a 2.5oz cup.
