Cheeky cookie brand 3 Sinners has launched a new campaign on crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, one week after debuting its line of sugar- and gluten-free treats.
The brand is seeking more than £33,000 in financing and at the time of writing, on the first day of crowdfunding, had managed to raise just over £250. It will now have just over a month to find the rest of the money – although, thanks to Indiegogo’s flexible funding feature, will keep all of the raised funds regardless of whether it hits its goal.
The brand is offering a number of perks to potential investors, including designer T-shirts, 20% discounts on all future purchases and cookie pack deliveries for up to six months. For those pledging upwards of £4,000, the company has also offered an invitation-only perk – the distributor pack – that will give investors the chance to partner with 3 Sinners on the distribution of its products.
The campaign has currently attracted six out of a maximum of 500 investors.
3 Sinners is a range of sin-free cookies designed to appeal to health-conscious consumers, first featured by FoodBev earlier this month. Available in heavenly chocolate, butter pecan, peach coconut, peppermint crunch, lemon pie and caramel chocolate varieties, the individually wrapped cookies are naturally sugar-free and rich in both protein and fibre.
A spokesperson for the brand said: “Consumers all around the world are attaching increasing important to products with healthy and natural ingredients. They want appealing products that fit into their everyday routines, but without impairing their health due to sugar overload and synthetic additives.
“3 Sinners knows if you eat less sugar and eat more nutritious foods that make you feel fuller, you’re on your way to a healthier body shape. 3 Sinners cookies has protein and fibre-rich natural ingredients, and no sugar or gluten so you can have your cookie and eat it too!”
