A former Kopparberg sales director has brought a new range of premium, intensely flavoured alcoholic drinks to market.
Fantastical Flavours is a range of four 15% ABV variants that can be enjoyed neat or combined with mixers for a number of fruity and nostalgic drinks. Very Cherry can be combined with Coca-Cola for a “grown up cherry Coke”; Pear Drop can be mixed with lemonade to produce a “classic sweet shop cocktail”; and Likörmeister is described as a “fiery and full-flavoured” blend of herbs and spices.
There is also a Big Apple flavour that features “a juicy blast of refreshing apple that’s got the sweet-sour combination, balanced to perfection”.
The concept was developed by former Kopparberg sales director Daryl Moss, who used his experience in the alcoholic drinks industry to create a brand surrounded by mystery and intrigue – but that retains an accessible price point.
Moss said: “The team behind Fantastical Flavours are alchemy enthusiasts so we wanted to take that passion and create an intensely flavoured, affordable drink fit for the modern day consumer and that also packs a punch. Looking into the history of this old tradition was extremely informative when it came to developing the product and from our research into current trends and consumer demand we found that there is a gap in the market for what we wanted to do.
“We believe people want a great-tasting, affordable drinks range that offers the consumer delicious flavours without compromising on price – that’s our message to the market.”
