Natural Immune Products has launched a new Nurture Fruity Waters+ healthy children’s drink with lower natural sugars.
Targeted specifically at young children after they have outgrown breast feeding, it has added nutrients to support immunity and lower naturally occurring sugar. Made with 45% natural juice and 55% water – as well as nutrients that support immunity, bones, and teeth – Nurture Fruity Water+ contains no added sugar and less than one teaspoon of naturally occurring sugar per 100ml. It is school approved and offers the UK’s “first mess-free pouch for on-the-go convenience”, Natural Immune Products said.
The innovation is packaged in 200ml pouches and is available in two different flavours – cherry and strawberry, plus orange and pineapple – with a recommended retail price of between £0.99 and £1.49 per pouch and £2.99 for a four-count multipack.
The UK-based brand has secured key listings from this month with Ocado, Whole Foods Market and health food retailer Holland & Barrett.
Natural Immune Products founder Derek Saunders said: “Children’s immune systems are least developed and most at risk to germs and infection the younger their age.
“Nothing nurtures better than breast milk and all baby formula producers strive to replicate it. However, there is a gap in the market after children stop breast-feeding and formula, as there are currently no functional drinks with added nutrients available for children from one to five years. Nurture Fruity Water+ has been formulated to support children’s immunity and be part of a solution to help busy, on-the-go families stay healthy.”
