Dunnet Bay Distillers has unveiled its final seasonal release of the year called Winter Edition Rock Rose Gin, made using spruce tips from Christmas trees.
The Sottish company said the beverage has a earthy and citrusy hints, with the botanicals giving it a ‘truly festive flavour profile’.
Dunnet Bay’s signature ceramic bottle has also been given a festive feel, as the company targets Christmas gifting.
The launch completes a strong year for Dunnet Bay Distillers, with sales up 50% on the previous year. In September it released another seasonal line called Autumn Edition Rock Rose Gin.
Dunnet Bay Distillers co-founder Martin Murray said: “Our aim is to create spirits that express a true flavour of the Scottish Highlands and the seasonal editions are a brilliant example of this.
“With local spruce tips the hero botanical, we believe we have crafted a truly unique spirit with our Winter Edition and as well as serving with tonic, we also recommend serving it neat in a hot glass.”
The limited-edition Winter Edition variant is now available in the UK with a recommended retail price of £37.50.
