Californian wine brand Barefoot Wine has added to its range of wines with the launch of new single-serve formats of their top-selling varietals.
The single-serve bottles of Barefoot’s pinot grigio, merlot and pink moscato are targeted at consumers who want to enjoy a glass of wine during weekday evenings and other “grab-and-go” occasions, or for wine fans looking for a mix-and-match wine drinking experience, the company said.
The 187ml glass bottles are available now across the UK grocery and convenience channels nationwide. The three new single-serve bottles will sit in the wine aisle alongside the existing Barefoot Wine family, but the brand advises retailers to display them in chilled cabinets where possible as well.
Olga Senkina, marketing director for Barefoot Wine, said: “We are delighted to be launching the ‘toes’ to add to the Barefoot Wine family. Single serve formats are a rapidly growing category within the UK market and we feel confident the new Barefoot Wine 187ml range will enable consumers to mix and match their favourite varietals, whatever the occasion.”
