Dutch food company Wijndragers, which makes mustards, sauces and dressings, already uses Beatson Clark’s standard 250ml hexagonal bottle for a number of its products, but the company needed a bespoke bottle for a private label range to be sold in Oil & Vinegar stores worldwide.
Beatson Clark came up with a cost-effective solution by embossing each facet of the hexagonal bottle with the Oil & Vinegar logo, which meant the customer could have a unique bottle with minimal outlay.
The bottle was supplied to Wijndragers through Pont Europe, the European sales arm of Beatson Clark.
“Our customer Oil & Vinegar wanted a personalised bottle and Beatson Clark is the only company we know that’s able to provide this embossing on this particular bottle,” said Christian Lensen, sales manager at Wijndragers. “We’ve used Beatson Clark’s glass for over 30 years and their products are unique and of very high quality. If there’s a problem it’s mostly solved in a matter of days, so the service they provide is fantastic.
“We are absolutely satisfied with the result and so is our customer. The products are on sale now and the feedback so far has been great!”
Following recent investment in new sculpting software, Beatson Clark is able to add improved definition and quality to its embossing.
“We’ve been supplying containers to Wijndragers through our sister company Pont Europe for many years and the partnership works well,” said Lynn Sidebottom, sales and marketing director at Beatson Clark. “We were very happy to be able to provide them with this cost-effective solution. By adding embossing to the standard bottle we were able to use the blank moulds from the hexagonal bottle, meaning the customer only has to pay for finish moulds at less than half the cost of a full bespoke design.”
