Bell Flavors & Fragrances EMEA has introduced a new range of chicken flavour profiles, which can create savoury flavours in a wide variety of applications.
The new Chef Specials ingredients range will cater to the growing market demand for chicken, as the company estimates that the global meat flavours market will grow 5.8% from 2018 to 2023, with chicken holding the largest market share in this category.
Bell has created the four new chicken flavour profiles to respond to this market need, and ingredients in the range include intense and strong fatty chicken, white and dark chicken meat as well as the meaty notes of roasted chicken.
According to Bell, the new flavour profiles add depth and authentic meat characteristics to savoury products such as soups and broth, sauces, meat products, ready meals, processed cheeses and more.
The new flavour profiles are also classified as natural flavourings, meaning they conform to the increasing demand for clean label products from increasingly health-conscious consumers.
A statement for Bell said: “With its “Chef Specials” flavour creations based on chicken, Bell is supporting its customers in developing cost-effective and appealing products on a standardised quality and delivers a functional solution allowing for the creation of different cooking profiles together with a flexible use in a broad range of applications.
“High efficiency due to convenient and easy applicable powder format of the flavours and long shelf life is equally given.
