Bolthouse Farms has expanded its portfolio of juices and smoothies with a new Superfood Immunity Boost fruit juice blend.
The company’s latest offering is made with elderberry, cranberry and echinacea, and is said to be a source of vitamins C and D, as well as zinc. Superfood Immunity Boost comes in a 52oz multi-serve bottle.
Bolthouse Farms has also announced that it is introducing the 52oz format for five of its ‘most nutrient-dense’ beverages, alongside the 15.2oz bottles already available.
“Consumers’ needs are changing quickly, and we heard from our customers that the demand for products that help promote wellness, that taste great and are available at a good value is growing at a fast pace,” said Bolthouse Farms chief customer officer, Phil Kooy.
“We quickly developed the new Superfood Immunity Boost juice and added multi-serve sizes of our other immunity-boosting juices and smoothies, providing the value and function consumers are looking for.”
Bolthouse Farms’ Superfood Immunity Boost blend will be available from US retailers in late-October.
The launch follows the company’s recent introduction of two new plant-based lines: Protein Keto beverages and Refrigerated Dressings.
Last year, Campbell Soup offloaded its Bolthouse Farms division to private equity firm Butterfly for approximately $510 million.
