Our Home acquires cheese snack manufacturer Sonoma Creamery

Better-for-you snack platform Our Home has announced the successful acquisition of Sonoma Creamery, for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 1931 in Sonoma, California, Sonoma Creamery produces crunchy, high-protein, craft-baked snacks using quality ingredients such as real cheese and gluten-free wholegrains. The deal is set to significantly scale Our Home's existing platform and footprint across the US, expanding its ability to provide quality snacks at a value to its customers. Aaron Greenwald, founder and CEO of Our Home, said: "This acquisition expands Our Home into the cheese snack category, reinforcing our position as a leading independent better-for-you snacking platform. Sonoma has a 90+ year history in the cheese business and its quality of products and manufacturing process delivers the best tasting and most premium cheese snack on the market."

Under the deal, Our Home has acquired Sonoma’s production facility and warehouse in Sonoma. This means that the Our Home platform now has eight manufacturing facilities across the US, enabling it to deliver across snacking categories, driving streamlined and substantial growth. In February, Our Home purchased 'certain subsidiaries, brands and facilities' from Utz Brands in a deal valued at $182.5 million.
