Bubbies Ice Cream has announced it will release its first range of vegan mochi ice creams, following the success of its conventional mochi ice cream range.
Initially, four flavours will be available in the new range: Mango, cherry, vanilla and mint.
Each flavour is gluten-free, non-GMO and contains 80 calories per serving.
The fruit flavours in the range are made using fruit puree blended with ice cream, which is wrapped in rice flour dough to create the mochi dessert.
Bubbies chief executive officer Rick Schaffer said: With our unique flavours, dairy-free frozen dessert filling and soft, sweet mochi dough, we know our new vegan line up is going to be a hit with consumers and retailers alike.
This new frozen dessert will fulfil a unique market niche that has been asking for a vegan, non-GMO alternative and we are pleased to offer it in a tasty array of flavour options.”
