Turkey is seen as a strategically important market for the company, seeing steady growth in cultures, enzymes and natural colours.
“We have been present with the Peyma Chr-Hansen Joint Venture in Turkey since 1989,” said Jacob Vishof Paulsen, group vice president, Europe, Middle East and Africa. “With this acquisition, we can fully integrate operations into the rest of the Chr Hansen organisation, sustaining the whole Group’s success in the future.”
The role of new country manager of Chr Hansen Turkey will be assumed by Carsten Rou, who has been with Chr Hansen for 25 years, most recently as head of culture and enzyme sales in North America.
