Coldpress has launched two low-calorie cold-pressed juices with no more than 65 calories in each 150ml bottle.
The juice brand called it “the next chapter” in its “ongoing quest to showcase chilled juices in a more positive and health-conscious light”.
New Coldpress Fruity Greens combines kiwi, celery, spinach, banana and apple for just 63 calories per 150ml, while Berry Beats contains raspberries and beetroot and delivers 65 calories in every 150ml. The bold yet balanced fruit and vegetable combinations, and their low-calorie footprints, were the two primary consideration for the new range of Coldpress juices, the brand said.
The new generation of “sessionable” blends have a superior fruit content and retain the nutritional goodness that cold-pressing allows, it added.
The raspberries are high in potassium, fibre and polyphenols; the beetroot contains high levels of magnesium, calcium, vitamin C, iron and folates; and the kiwi is rich in vitamins A, K, E and B, as well as copper.
Coldpress brand owner Andrew Gibb said: “We believe that inquisitive tastebuds deserve to be rewarded as part of our ongoing mission to actively champion nutritionally dense juices with everyday appeal. For too long juices have played safe, taking their flavour profiles for granted. Tomorrow’s juices have a responsibility to provide a daily dose of essential vitamins and nutrients whilst simultaneously turning heads.”
