Seattle-based Darigold dairy has announced plans to expand its customer outreach by opening several new international offices.
The move will allow Darigold to double its outreach from serving 20 countries to 40 worldwide. So far, the company has opened offices in Mexico City, Singapore and Shanghai, and says it plans to expand to other countries in the future.
The expansion will open up more opportunities to connect directly with customers who expect suppliers to have sophisticated, personalised outreach abilities.
Darigold says that this is in order to appeal to the growing demand to personalise products. The company also said that this move would optimise its technical solutions to increase its connectivity with customers.
Over 40% of Darigold milk is exported for overseas products, and the company says that this should increase to over 50% in the near future with the global expansion. This will also see an increase in farm growth across the company.
Stan Ryan, the chief executive officer of Darigold, said: “We are excited to expand with new in-house international capabilities and better serve our customers worldwide through a direct network.
“With an expanded global team, Darigold can fully realise the potential of providing Northwest dairy products’ unique sustainability, quality, nutrition and taste to the world.”
