UK-based Dash Water has introduced what it calls a “first-of-its-kind” mixer, containing no calories, sugar or sweeteners.
Dash Soda Water is designed to complement any spirit, both alcoholic or non-alcoholic, offering a new way to mix for health-conscious consumers.
The new range marks the brand’s first move beyond infused sparkling waters and entry into the mixer category.
Dash Soda Water is made with British spring water, bubbles and infused with wonky fruit, which otherwise would have gone to waste. The line comes in three flavours: Wonky Rhubarb & Fiery Ginger, Wonky Limes & Garden Mint, and Wonky Bitter Orange & Grapefruit.
As part of its commitment, Dash Water aims to save 2,500 tons of wonky fruit and vegetables through selling 150 million cans by 2025.
Co-founder of Dash Water, Jack Scott, said: “We embarked on a journey to create a mixer that delivers on flavour but cuts out sugar and sweetener. We noticed that this market was dominated by highly sweetened options. We wanted to bring a fresh perspective to this, simply infusing our spring water with deliciously wonky fruit and a good dash of soda fizz.”
Dash Soda Water is launching this month online and into Ocado, Amazon and Harrods for an RRP of £5.95 per six 200ml cans.
