Diageo-affiliated spirits brand Ketel One Family-Made Vodka has created a range of vodkas flavoured with botanical ingredients, which will go on sale in the US.
Each of the peach & orange blossom, cucumber & mint and grapefruit & rose flavoured vodkas are 30% ABV, rather than the 40% ABV of most traditional spirits.
The drinks are made using Kelet One vodka, which is distilled in copper stills and then infused with naturally-extracted fruits and botanicals.
Each drink contains no artificial flavours, no added sugars, no artificial sweeteners and 73 calories per serving.
Ketel One says that the range was created to cater to the growing number of US consumers who are seeking to cut back on alcohol consumption
Ketel One distiller Carl Nolet Jr. said: “We’ve created a fresh-tasting, delicious new spirit that honours our family’s legacy while reflecting the progressive values of today’s conscious consumers.
“People care deeply about what they put in their bodies, which is why we care deeply about what goes into every bottle.”
Ketel One distiller Bob Nolet added: “Just as our father redefined the possibilities for vodka with the exceptionally smooth crisp taste of Ketel One Vodka, we believe Ketel One Botanical sets a completely new standard in spirits.”
The Ketel One Botanical range is available from selected US retailers with a suggested retail price of $24.99 per 750ml bottle.
