Diamond of California has expanded its portfolio of nut pie crusts with the launch of a seasonal peppermint chocolate flavour.
According to Diamond of California, the peppermint chocolate offering is free from high-fructose corn syrup, soybean oil, additives and artificial flavours.
Designed for at-home holiday pie making, the new flavour joins pecan, walnut and chocolate variants in the brand’s range of ready-to-use shelf-stable crusts.
The range features nut rather than cookie crumb bases, reducing the crusts’ flour, sugar and carbohydrate content, while contributing ‘good’ polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats.
With an RRP of $3.99, the peppermint chocolate flavour will be available nationwide in the US from Walmart stores through the holiday season.
