Ingredients manufacturer EHL Ingredients has launched a new mint, garlic and rosemary marinade in time for Easter.
The new marinade joins the company’s existing portfolio of 22 herb and spice blends, rubs, marinades, coatings and seasonings, which “offer a variety of ways to enhance the flavour of lamb, beef, poultry, pork and vegetable dishes,” it said. The product “will perfectly complement spring lamb cuts and give a welcome new twist to traditional Easter foods,” the company added.
The marinade is particularly suited to food manufacturers and processors looking for innovative ways to create high quality Easter dishes for the retail and foodservice channels.
Tasneem Backhouse, sales and marketing director for EHL ingredients, said: “Flavoursome, versatile lamb dishes are top of the menu at Easter – both in the home and in foodservice outlets. As such, our new marinade is the perfect accompaniment to lamb dishes, as Brits are enjoying high quality, traditional British foods. Consumers are always looking for the next big food trend and we are confident that our new marinade will be a popular choice.”
Its introduction extends a series of product innovations from EHL Ingredients, which include a fish seasoning released last year. “Our fish seasoning, launched at the end of 2014, has been a popular option in the first few months of this year with Easter set to be a key time of year for this multipurpose blend,” Backhouse said.
