Children’s food brand Ella’s Kitchen has launched a new range of desserts for children aged 7 months and up, which add a contemporary twist to three traditional recipes.
The new Perfect Puddings range includes raspberry and mango rice pudding, apple and cinnamon crumble, plus banana and vanilla bread pudding. Each will be available in the UK from late May through supermarket chain Tesco, packaged in four-packs of 80g pots with a recommended retail price of £1.75 per pack.
Offering “a delicious twist” on three family favourites, Ella’s Kitchen said that the line-up would offer parents a greater choice of desserts for their children. Billed as a healthier alternative to other children’s puddings, they are also described as “best in class for sugar”.
Mark Cuddigan, head of Ella’s Kitchen UK said: “Parents want to be able to offer their little ones choice and variety for dessert, just like main meals. It’s part of the ritual of feeding. We know, however, that the options are currently limited.
“At Ella’s we pride ourselves on developing the best quality products for tiny tummies, whilst not compromising on taste. Our exciting new range of puddings are the perfect way for little ones to finish lunch or tea, leaving them feeling full and happy.”
