Elopak has launched a new package for aseptic products, rolled out across a range of juice products by Eckes-Granini Finland.
The Pure-Pak Sense Aseptic carton combines form and functionality through a number of ‘standout features’, Elopak said, including easy-to-fold lines that enable more juice to be squeezed out and the convenient flattening of cartons to reduce volume in waste and recycling facilities.
The carton has an asymmetric top that allows different sizes of closure and an arched top fin, creating an elegant and appealing shape to enhance brand image on shelf. The top fin can also be printed for better ease of navigation across a product portfolio, and communication of product benefits or promotional messages. In addition, an embossed ‘first touch’ zone on the top sides of the pack gives consumers a new tactile experience when gripping and pouring.
The carton has been used by Eckes-Granini Finland to repackage its Marli Natur range of juices, following the installation in the summer of a new aseptic filling line at its production site in Turku.
