Fever-Tree has entered the ready-to-drink market in the UK with the launch of a line of bottled gin and tonics, as it looks to bring added convenience for consumers throughout the summer.
The range consists of three variants: premium Indian gin and tonic, refreshingly light gin and tonic, and elderflower gin and tonic.
Fever-Tree’s innovation team has worked closely with Charles Maxwell of Thames Distillers to create the gins.
For the Indian and refreshingly light variants, a juniper-forward London dry gin has been created. The resulting product is said to be “crisp, with subtle notes of citrus and savoury spice”. For the elderflower gin and tonic, a “lightly floral” gin has been created.
The beverages are available with recommended retail price of £2.75 for a 275ml glass bottle.
Fever-Tree senior innovation manager Rose Cottingham said: “The continued popularity of the G&T is drawing in consumers in ever greater numbers and our new ready-to-drink range provides consumers with a convenient way of enjoying a perfectly paired G&T without having to compromise on quality.
“The range has been inspired by our favourite flavour combinations and reflects the same commitment to the highest quality ingredients, botanicals and taste that is at the heart of all of our products.”
The range is now available in Tesco stores in the UK with a recommended retail price of £2.75 for a 275ml glass bottle.
In March, Fever-Tree released three takes on ginger ale for the US market, bringing new value-add propositions to the ginger flavours subcategory.
