FIFCO USA has released a line of alcoholic still water as it responds to a growing demand for healthier options in the ready-to-drink alcohol space.
Called Pura Still, the beverages have 90 calories, an ABV of 4.5% and are available as of December in three flavours: blackberry, mango, and mandarin orange.
FIFCO USA – which was formally known as North American Breweries – said the innovation is “the perfect way for consumers to enjoy themselves without straying from their healthy lifestyles”.
It added that the spiked still water creates a new option for consumers looking for clean labels, natural ingredients and “the ultimate refreshment in their drinking occasions”. An 11.2oz bottle of Pura Still contains 1g of cane sugar and 2g of carbohydrates.
Pura Still brand manager Jessica Stainsby said: “People are prioritising their health and wellness more than ever. Pura Still creates an option for consumers who want to enjoy themselves without worrying about carbonation and bloating, calories or excess sugar. You shouldn’t have to compromise your lifestyle to enjoy a drink, and with Pura Still, you don’t have to.”
The beverages will go on sale in December in packs of six.
FIFCO USA’s brands include Labatt, Genesee, Seagram’s Escapes, Magic Hat, Pyramid, the Original Honey Brown Lager, and Portland Brewing.
