Rémy Cointreau posts a 27.3% increase in H1 2011-2012 operating profit to €106.2m, boosted by a 10.9% rise in turnover to €474.9m.
Britvic reports a 14.6% rise in revenue and a dividend increase of 6%, as well as three major new agreements for the development of the Fruit Shoot brand in the US.
NutraCea has announced its financial results for the third quarter and nine-month period ended 30 September 2011. The first nine months showed continued improvement over the same period in 2010. Consolidated revenues increased 13.4%, driven by a 32.4% increase from its Bio-Refining unit, gross profit increased by 25.9%, consolidated gross profit margin improved to 25.6% and consolidated loss from operations improved by $4.4m.
Denmark’s Royal Unibrew reports a 10% decline in net revenue to DKK2.67bn for the first nine months of 2011, with net profits up 34% to DKK280.5m, with lower costs offsetting falling beer sales.
Laurent-Perrier sees H1 2011 net profit surge 221% to €9.5m on a 13.3% increase in net sales to €92m, driven by strong demand in the US and Japan.
General Mills has reported results for the second quarter and first half of fiscal 2012. Net sales grew 14% to $4.62bn. The international Yoplait acquisition completed on 1 July 2011 contributed 8 points of net sales growth. Segment operating profit rose 2% to $873m, including significantly higher input costs year-over-year and increased advertising expense. Diluted earnings per share (EPS) totalled 67 cents. Adjusted diluted EPS, which excludes certain items affecting comparability of results, totalled 76 cents, matching the year-ago level.
