Funkin has expanded its range of 1 litre cocktail mixers for the on-trade channel with the launch of new raspberry mojito, elderflower Collins and Funkin sour mix this month.
The new line-up has been unveiled just one week after the brand released two new “exotic” cocktail purées in response to growing consumer demand for exotic ingredients.
The products reflect the fact that its clients are also looking to create quality, quick and easy in-demand cocktail to help maximise their sales, the cocktail innovator added.
Funkin raspberry mojito is the second mojito mixer in Funkin’s range, made using the finest raspberries, mint and Persian limes; elderflower Collins taps into demand for “one of the fastest growing botanical flavours” by combining Sicilian lemons with British elderflower; while the new Funkin sour mix is described as a “versatile cocktail mixer”, and blends Sicilian lemons, Persian limes and pure cane sugar to create a mixer that can be paired with whiskey, amaretto, gin and tequila.
The raspberry mojito and elderflower Collins mixers are designed to be matched with rum and gin respectively.
Funkin managing director Andrew King said: “Funkin is once again at the forefront of innovation working closely with our network of bartenders to develop mixers that are in-demand and respond to consumer trends.
“These three mixers, Funkin Elderflower Collins, Funkin Raspberry Mojito and Funkin Sour Mix give operators the opportunity to upsell their customers with a range of quality and creative cocktails. Our mixer range now includes over 30 products and we are proud to be providing our customers with even more ways to offer consumers the great-tasting cocktails they are after.”
