General Mills has expanded its Old El Paso brand portfolio with the launch of a new range of Tex-Mex meal kits and sauces, as well as a new rice dish.
The new Old El Paso product additions include Burrito Bowl Kits, Street Taco Kits, Squeeze Sauces and Cilantro Lime Rice.
The Mexican brand aims to bring favourite restaurant flavours to homes and provide convenient dinner options for the whole family, which can be ready in 30 minutes or less.
In order to make the kits, consumers simply need to add meat or fish, protein substitutes or grilled vegetables. Both kits serve four people and retail for $3.99.
Each Burrito Bowl Kit features cilantro lime white rice, seasoning mix and queso blanco sauce. The range comes in chipotle chicken, adobo steak and seasoned beef flavours.
Meanwhile, each Old El Paso Street Taco Kit contains 12 flour tortillas, seasoning mix and a topping sauce. The range features three varieties: carne asada steak (with medium creamy chipotle sauce), asado chicken (with medium creamy jalapeño sauce) and barbacoa beef (with mild salsa verde).
The brand’s Squeeze Sauces come in 9oz bottles for $3.88 in a choice of two flavours: spicy queso blanco and cilantro lime fire roasted verde. The Cilantro Lime Rice product will retail for $1.89.

Old El Paso meal kits and squeeze sauces are a delicious, uncomplicated way to bring restaurant flavours home and families together without busting the budget,” said Jonathan Pandit, marketing communications manager at Old El Paso.
The new Old El Paso products are available to purchase at major US retailers nationwide.
