The Gluten Free Bar Company has unveiled a range of gluten-free oatmeal packaged in an innovative cardboard packet which can be turned into a bowl.
To create the portable bowl, users squeeze together the sides of the flat packaging so it locks into a square bowl. Once the bowl has been created, consumers need only add hot water to the fill line and cover.
The GFB Power Breakfast will be released on 8 January to mark National Gluten-Free day in the US.
Five flavours are available, including Coconut Cashew, Fruits, Nuts, and Seeds, PB+J, Apple Cinnamon, and Maple Raisin. All flavours contain a mix of gluten-free oats, raw hemp seed, fruit and nuts and no artificial flavours, colours or refined sugars.
Elliott Rader, co-founder and partner at The GFB said: “My brother and I started The GFB based on our own dietary needs and Power Breakfast is an extension of that effort to fuel our bodies with foods of superior quality and taste.
“We believe this is the first heat-and-serve oatmeal on the market to offer this level of quality, taste and nutrition in one package, and the pop-up-bowl makes it easy to enjoy anywhere.
“We like to say Power Breakfast is like oatmeal, but better; better ingredients, better taste, all in a portable and convenient package.”
