British milkshake brand Bam aims to tap into growing demand for healthier drink alternatives with its range of chocolate and banana flavoured milks.
Containing no artificial colours, preservatives or refined sugars, Bam said the products are the ‘perfect solution’ for consumers who are seeking to reduce their sugar intake.
Made with real milk, honey, banana and cocoa, each milkshake carton contains 11g of protein and is suitable for vegetarians and those with gluten intolerances.
The brand said in a statement: “With honey appealing to 41% of UK adults as an alternative to refined white sugar, it’s ideal for customers looking for a hit of natural goodness to keep them going.”
Bam founder and managing director Graham Dodridge added: “Our mission is to be the first choice of the health-conscious consumers who know that what you put in is what you get out.
“We’ve had a really positive response since launching Bam and we’re excited to be producing deliciously simple drinks that meet consumer demands. We look forward to further extending our distribution and listings.”
The milkshakes are now available in the UK at Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Selfridges with a recommended retail price of £1.50 for 330ml.
