The company currently has a 29% share of business in the CIS region, which includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and the Ukraine.
Sergiy Pogrebnyi, general manager of Hotfrost, said: “We are about to launch a new affiliate programme which will boost our share in the region. In 2011 we forecast a growth of this cooler market capacity by 15% compared with 2010.
“Accordingly, our new strategy will take into account existing growth in the market for equipment and services to deliver water to homes and offices, offering maximum convenience for our customers.”
According to Hotfrost, the 2010 market capacity for water coolers in the CIS countries was 320,000 units, 10% higher than in 2009. Hotfrost Limited is a global supplier of equipment and spare parts for the water business.
Its headquarters are in Hong Kong, along with production lines in Korea, China and Turkey. It fully owns the Hotfrost brand of water coolers and products.
