In the UK, Ilkley Brewery is set to launch two new additions to its core range, and will also make two special one-off brews available to consumers as it kickstarts “a big year for the brewery”.
The beer maker, based in West Yorkshire, will add 4.5% Alpha Beta Session IPA, its new easy drinking IPA that is full of hop highs and bitterness, as well as a hint of spice and grapefruit and lychee finish.
It will also launch Holy Cow Coffee Milk Stout at 4% ABV, described as “a perfectly balanced easy-drinking milk stout”. A new take on Ilkley Brewery’s 2012 version, it features coffee undertones and provides more depth of flavour.
The brewery will release two experimental beers during Craft Beer Rising: Tisane, a 7% ABV saison made with tea, lemongrass and ginger; plus Sioux Princess, a mango and vanilla farmhouse IPA at 6.8% ABV.
Ilkley Brewery have been brewing since 2009 and, through rapid growth, has created over 80 unique beers in the past 18 months.
