Fazer Mills Finland is profiting from increasing consumer demands for oat-based milk alternatives, according to Markku Mikola, the company’s senior manager R&D.
Speaking with FoodBev at Food Ingredients Asia 2019, Mikola explained how the company’s oat ingredients are suitable for a range of plant-based alternatives because of their neutral taste.
Having benefited from strong European demand for oat ingredients, Fazer Mills Finland is now exploring the growth potential for its products in Asia.
