Jack Link’s-owned meat snacking brand Peperami has expanded its chicken portfolio with the introduction of a new flavour variant, Smokin’ Chicken Bites.
With the launch of its latest product, Peperami hopes to appeal to families looking to buy fewer sugar-laden snacks. The Bites are oven baked, rather than fried, and contain 103kcal per 50g serving.
As a source of protein, Peperami’s new snack is also aimed at ‘nutritionally-aware young adults’.
The brand, which was purchased by Jack Link’s in 2014, also offers Jerky, Beef Bars, Pastry Rolls and a Snack Box, as well as its signature Peperami sticks.
“Smokin’ Chicken Bites demonstrate our continued commitment to product innovation, and bringing new, exciting products to the meat snacking category, as well as reaching a wider demographic,” said Pavan Chandra, marketing manager at Peperami.
“As the UK’s number one meat snacking brand, Peperami’s innovative flavour combinations cater to its loyal meat-head fans while adapting to the evolving consumer market, and Smokin’ Chicken Bites does just this as an exciting new product with a wide audience appeal.”
Peperami Smokin’ Chicken Bites are available, for £1.29 per 50g pack, from Asda and Tesco.
