Alcohol distributor James Clay has added Pennsylvanian-based beer maker Victory Brewing Company’s range of products to its portfolio in the UK.
Victory’s signature brews include Prima pils, a “quencher” that combines the subtleties of German malt with a long, dry finish; and Headwaters Ale, which is described as a firm, crisp and aromatically arousing ale. The company also offers small-batch and seasonal beers to complement its ingredients and the time of year.
The new relationship with Victory sees James Clay meet demand among the UK’s on-trade channel for American beers. The brewery, which first opened its doors to the public in 1996, is one of only a small handful of breweries that exclusively uses whole flower hops in the brewhouse. Victory beers are currently available in 34 US states, as well as various countries worldwide.
James Clay head of sales Matthew Eyre said: “It is great that we will be bringing Victory’s offering to beer lovers across the UK and delivering the core range all year round, as well as those limited availability and seasonal beers that make Victory such a special brewery.”
