US breakfast brand Jimmy Dean has released two new bite-sized breakfast options featuring meat, egg and cheese.
Jimmy Dean Loaded Sausage Bites and Omelet Minis come in single-serve, on-the-go cups and are ready in under a minute. Both lines are made with the brand’s signature seasoned meats, real egg and cheese.
The sausage bites contain 16-19g of protein and come in two varieties: meat lovers and turkey sausage.
Meanwhile, the brand’s all-in-one egg bites contain 13-14g of protein and are available in sausage & cheddar and gouda & bacon varieties.
Chris Olson, senior brand manager of Jimmy Dean, said: “At the start of 2020, people were cooking every meal at home, including breakfast. Over time, however, peoples’ energy for making multiple fresh meals throughout the day has waned, with 25% of people tired of cooking.
“The new Jimmy Dean Loaded Sausage Bites and Omelet Minis are the perfect option for those seeking a warm breakfast or snack with the flavours they love without the time-consuming prep and clean-up.”
The new products come after the brand launched plant-based patty breakfast sandwiches earlier this year.
Jimmy Dean Loaded Sausage Bites and Jimmy Dean Omelet Minis are available now in the refrigerated aisle of retail stores nationwide.
